인천대학교-인천광역시교육청 MOU
Incheon National University (President In Jae Lee) and the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Seong Hoon Do) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on “High School–University Linked Credit Recognition for Out-of-School Education” at the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education on August 6, 2025.
Four universities in the Incheon region—Incheon National University, Gyeongin National University of Education, Anyang University, and Inha University—participated in this agreement. The purpose is to strengthen cooperative systems to expand students’ course selection rights in line with the full implementation of the high school credit system and to foster local talent together.
The program of “High School–University Linked Credit Recognition for Out-of-School Education” enables universities to offer advanced courses not provided in school curricula or joint programs. High school students who complete these courses can have them recognized as part of their high school credits, and also as credits after entering university.
President In Jae Lee of Incheon National University stated, “As a national university, Incheon National University will do its utmost to reflect on and prepare for students’ futures so that student-centered education can be practiced in the field.”
Through this agreement, the two institutions plan not only to establish and operate courses but also to actively support tailored career and academic planning for students in the Incheon region.
